Manufactured housing is a large share of Marion County, and the electrical work has its own patterns. The service is usually a pedestal set apart from the home with a feeder running to it, and the two most common failures are corrosion inside the pedestal and a feeder that has degraded where it enters the home.
Interior work has its own constraints. Wall cavities are shallow, boxes and fixtures are often specified for manufactured housing rather than site-built construction, and replacement parts are not always interchangeable with what a hardware store stocks.
Older units frequently have aluminum feeders to the pedestal and grounding arrangements that no longer meet code. Both come up when a home is being resold or when insurance asks for an inspection.

Open the pedestal before quoting anything on a manufactured home. Corrosion at the lugs is common enough here that it changes the scope more often than not.
